Panmure. What more needs to be said other than our ''Nemisis''. Through the years we have always had an arch rivalry. Without this Rugby wouldn't be the same. Its a unique game. Make no mistake neither team take prisoners.

I remember playing a crunch game against Panny and it was seriously brutal. All I could hear was ''come on Panny'' from this posh bloke. We scored a try and Stewart Bennets wifes friend who had no clue about Rugby said to the posh bloke in a typical Glaswegian accent ''No wonder your getting beat manny you don't even have a fu**ing goalkeeper''

Training on Tuesday the numbers were great. I can now understand what a great player Espo is he is such a pain in the ass in the rucks and mauls. David Campbell a great conerstone of the scrum who after Tuesday looks like he wants the ball in his hand as much as possible. Maybe we have a young Derek Bruce in the making.

We really do need to try and maintain this but problems from injuries don't help. We are in the process of organising a physio. For those who don't know, the Rugby club own a ultra sound machine and massage bench. The comittee are trying to take on board and solve team issues.

Another point brought up was the lack of changing facilties at training sessions. It was the first thing that struck me as I hadn't been up at training for 5 years. Lazy old bum.
We need to think about trying to reinstate this. The point was made that the reason we stopped using the changing rooms was because no one was using them and it was costing the club £60 a week.

On Saturday people need to tell me if they want them back. It was a great reason not to go home have a quick shower and out for pint. Maybe now the male of the species is content with his lot and wants to go home to his lover (male or female).

Away games. If we are taking cars the players who are kind enough to use their cars will be offered fuel expenses. Obviously if your travelling to an away game in for instance a BMW m3 at 150 mph the club cannot cover the fuel inefficencies of a 300 hp engine reving at 7500 rpm for an hour. LOL. In all seriousness thanks to all the guys who make the effort of taking their cars.

For Strathspey we will have a bus. We need to make this a great day out not a chore we must fufill.

Cath has secured a sponsor for the team. She is in the process of getting the print on the new strips. I would like to thank Gordon the proprieter of Carnoustie Sports Cars for this.
I have ordered new socks which can be purchased at £ 3 each.
I would also like the thank Cath for her hard work which can be a thankless task.

I totally agree about what steven does in the ruck and mauls, but he needs to do more out of these situations and develop his playing portfolio as he's usually lying on the bottom of these rucks or mauls, when a player of his caliber and tackling prowess should pestering the oppositions backs.
