What a great result. I don't think Alloa could believe it. Neither could the Harris firsts watching.
It all boils down to the effort at training. Thanks Bill.
Over 80 minutes they didn't have an answer. In the set pieces we were average, which is something we need to work on. If we recieved 50% from the set piece the score line would have been far greater.
Our Rucks, Maules offensive and defensive play was top notch. Again a reflection of hard work at training.
Considering one of their backs was a Scotland rugby league player, he dropped the ball more than me.
Their options were limited when they realised that we had a skinny blond guy with a daft haircut, who would drop a goal from the half way line. What do you do in these circumstances. Start a fight on the touch line.
Grant and I have been working together this week and he said it was one of the easiest games he has played in this season. Makes you think on how far we have come, but to use the old cliche were are only as good as our last game. Against Waid this Saturday its going to be tough.
An inspiration for me was seeing Neil walking off the park you could see he had commited himself to every second of the game.
So we pull off a monumental result, have loads to drink then end up failing out with each other. In the olden days we used to just batter other people. LOL (oops History error)
I had a small compliant about the blog containing a lack of stimulating content. Here we go if your bored and want a laugh or want to gain an alternative outlook on our lifes in the solar system. Written by one of the greatest men to arrive on planet earth. I just stumbled upon this whilst reading about Don Garlits other passions.

............or you could read the courier!
Saturdays was a game (from my point of view anyway) where a group of players played like a team who believed they could win against the opposition in front of them...To be honest it's half the battle! It was great to watch.
Despite the Christmas spirit which some had engaged in the night before, there was a steel on the pitch and to be honest I think Alloa could have played all day and not broken either the line or the spirit...despite the Ref (should I really say that, aw fu*k it, it's true!).
The press were interested too and called for a "reason" for the victory, which they were duly given. However despite that I can confirm that the coaches are not paid for their services. Pete, as you can see from this blog, was given a signed copy of Stephen Hawking's "Universe". What he doesn't know is that it was signed by Jim Waugh! and Bill, well he was more difficult. In the end we settled for a suit of armour to protect him from dummies being spat out, it hasn't been used much thankfully. Lets hope it continues.
Well I was asked for something different. You can't argue with Dons view of the universe not being different.
As Albert Einstein said ''I tried to understand the way a Womans mind worked, after several years of research I decided it was easier to come with a mathematical formula to explain the theory of relativity''
For me I decided to try and understand a Carnoustie players mind whilst under the influence of alcohol, after several years of drinking, I decided to join the Cern project.
Pete I think the aliens took all the guys that didn't make it to training last night. After reading the link I was too afraid to venture out in case I became ET's dinner!!!
Will the remainder of the team answer the call tonight, or will we rest on our laurels for the game on Saturday and risk coming back to earth (amongst the aliens!) with a bang?
