A great result on Saturday.
After many weeks of toil, I really think the front five have a taste of what makes rugby addictive. Running with the ball in hand supporting each other. Its been obvious from the start , that one day it would happen.
It only needs to happen once after that confidence will rise and we will end up with a bunch of try crazy forwards.
Thanks to the backs and back row for being patient.
Winning is addictive. One of the Panmure backs commented to me that he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Swarm after swarm of forwards constantly attacking and defending, it was relentless.
After going off, it was the first time in 10 years that I wanted to go back on. Watching the backs play was a delight. What better way could you spend your Saturday afternoon than wandering up to Shanwell road.
Changing rooms are now open Tuesdays and Thursdays
We turn up on a Saturday to do a job. Remember the others who make it happen. Chris the match and fixture secetary. George, Willie and Rod for setting up the pitches. Stewart for making things happen, from the mundane to the even more mundane. Cath for organisng buses sorting out paperwork etc. Bill for lifting us to a new level.
No doubt I have left someone out.

Fantastic win on sat, its much better turning up soaber to play a game for a change! hopefully i'll remember that for future reference!
Great perfomance on Saturday from all concerned, 1-15. Special mention to Gav Dissell who made plenty of hard-yards all game and who, if it wasn't for the Euan Fraser appreciation society on the sidelines, would surely have picked up man-of-the-match?!
The team showed good hands throughout the game, with some great off-loading and support running, best displayed when Dr Neil went over for the last try with about six players in support and no Panny guys to be seen.
Another special mention to Chicken for THAT hit which knocked the Panny centre into next week, any chance of some lessons?
Had to laugh at Jock's report, apparently Brucie SLIPPED behind the line?! Just a case of him being on a different wavelength altogether from the referee, which is unusual as he's normally the official's best friend!
Looking forward to a couple of good training sessions and another fine performance on Saturday, against Strathspey. Quite similar to the Panny game away earlier in the season as we were short of players and had others carrying injuries, especially Chris who didn't have the legs to cross from 10 metres out up in Kingussie!
Your right about Gav. I had him down for my man of the match. Heather did as well.
Carnoustie do it the hard way. Beat Alloa and are beaten by Strathspey. Why becasue we didn't have enough players. Ambition?
I bet we look at the season with thoughts of what could have been.
At the same time inspiring for next year.
.......I guess you mean Waid, but I am sure we can forgive you...the point is well made though. Last weeks crushing performance would be reduced in significance if we slip up again this weekend.
It was great to watch on Saturday and if the same desire is shown against Strathspey then heaven help them!!
